Terms of Service
Aethermoor — last updated 2026-05-27. Pre-launch draft. Will be reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.
By using Aethermoor, you agree to these terms. This is a pre-launch period — the game is under active development, and these terms reflect that reality. They are intentionally short and direct rather than dressed-up boilerplate.
1. The game is provided "as-is"
Aethermoor is offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep your save data safe, but we cannot guarantee against data loss caused by browser bugs, device failure, your local storage being cleared, or a backend outage. If your progress matters to you, sign in and use cloud save; even then, treat your local export as the canonical backup.
2. Acceptable use
Don't do things that obviously harm the service or other players: no automated bots that strain our backend, no attempts to exploit bugs to extract paid content for free, no harassment of the developer through our support email. If a player griefs the service in clear bad faith, we may suspend their account; we will always email a heads-up first if we have a valid email on file.
3. Payments and refunds
UPDATE: this section will expand in 19.D when Stripe goes live.In the pre-launch period, payments are not enabled on the web build. When they are enabled, all purchases are one-time (no subscriptions); refunds are honored within 14 days of purchase by emailing zladson@hotmail.com. On Steam and the mobile stores, the platform's own refund policy applies and supersedes ours.
4. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the game.
5. Privacy
Our handling of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms by reference. Pay particular attention to the telemetry-events list and the Do-Not-Track section there.
6. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If you believe a suspension was a mistake, reply to the suspension email and we will review.
7. Disputes
In the pre-launch period, please reach out to zladson@hotmail.com and we'll try to work it out directly. A formal dispute-resolution clause will replace this section before public launch.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes that affect your existing entitlements or payment terms will be announced in-game before they take effect.
